Kristy, it is my understanding that we will be able to find books from the external resources available through the Koha; New York University Library, Library of Congress, and others. Library of Congress is a good external source to input book title and insert MARC record. Book's ISBN numbers will allow easily find a book of the interest and corresponding MARC record in same time. In case we do not find the book title in the listed sources in Koha, we will need to input book’s information manually. I think this is what we need to do in terms of book title search. Best, L

Hi thank you for your feedback but I still don't know in what part of the system I have to search for these records. I feel dumb not understanding this :/
Hi Sherry, I will try to provide directions and promise to keep it simple. Here we go. log in into -> in right corner you will see , click on (new window will opens; click on magnifying glass icon -> you will see . There you will search for books and in -> choose library of your interest -> search for books there and in import books. You will need to insert in field 003 and after MARC records inserted into fields, proceed to save. You will need to barcode your book (come up with unique number), insert for each book info and and -> add item. Items will be added, but keep barcode (have it in notepad) you will need to insert this number later to your list. Next step, open your new list. Respond to asked questions appropriately. Than after you create your list you will be able to add the barcode to your list and in this way create your virtual book shelves. Provide link of created book shelves to your blog post and Vo-a-la! Hope this helps.
